Hi, I’m Miranda — the owner and herbalist behind Crone by Design. I started this journey in the summer of 2021 after graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and over the years, Crone by Design has grown right alongside me.

I’m also incredibly lucky to share this life with my amazing and supportive husband, Lonnie, who has been by my side through every step of this journey — from how Crone by Design came to be, to every chapter in between. He has been my constant confidant when I feel out of sorts or face bumps in the road, always there to help me get back on my feet and keep going. Lonnie supports me in every way, big and small — from shaking his head as I pull out the tape measure, to opening the garage door and watching me craft booth displays, to running to the lumberyard when I’ve undercut something. He is truly an incredible husband, partner, and cheerleader, and I am so grateful for his love, patience, and unwavering belief in me.

Our dog, Festus, has been a constant companion since high school, quietly keeping me company through it all — sitting on his bed in the garage while I build, curled up under my desk as I craft products, snuggled next to me as I research, and even tagging along to shows when he doesn’t want me out of his sight.

Today, Crone by Design is my umbrella brand, holding several projects that all reflect my passion for accessible care, education, and community.

At the heart of it is Crone by Design – Feminine Apothecary, where I specialize in feminine healthcare and research, creating products that are both effective and affordable. I believe everyone deserves access to quality, supportive healthcare, and my work is rooted in helping people feel informed, empowered, and cared for in their wellness journeys.

I also run Crone by Design – Markets, where I host in-person, lovingly curated holistic and metaphysical markets in Lafayette, Indiana. These gatherings are meant to be welcoming, diverse, and safe spaces where people can come just as they are — to explore, learn, and feel supported. I’m passionate about connecting unique small businesses and practitioners from across the Midwest with our local community, creating spaces where meaningful conversations happen and real relationships grow. To me, every market is about more than shopping — it’s about building community, sharing care, and making sure everyone feels they belong.

I also offer Crone by Design – Workshops, where I bring herbal education directly to you through engaging, hands-on learning experiences centered on understanding our bodies and supporting them naturally. From introductory classes like Yoni Steaming 101 to deeper conversations about herbal wellness, these workshops are designed to empower participants with knowledge, confidence, and practical tools they can incorporate into their daily lives.

Workshops can be attended at public events or reserved for private gatherings, including women’s circles, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, baby showers, wellness retreats, and other special occasions. And for those who love conversation and learning, I host Crone by Design – A Dash of Everything Podcast, where I dive into four of my favorite worlds: public health issues, yoga, herbalism, and a touch of witchy things. It’s a space where curiosity is encouraged, and no topic is off-limits.

Crone by Design is more than a business to me — it’s a reflection of my values: care, accessibility, education, and compassion. I’m deeply grateful to do work that allows me to support others in meaningful ways.
